Craig Peyton, is a professional musician, aerial photographer, and a instrument rated pilot. In 1991 he founded EarthFlight.com a multi media film production and music company that combined his interests.
Craig studied with Gary Burton, at Berklee School of Music and was pioneer onthe electric vibes instrument. His group Band X was touring the East Coast when he worked with Dan Hartman on the global hit ‘Re-Light My Fire’, reaching #1 in 1979 in many global markets. Peyton was then signed to Buddah/Sutra Recordsand quickly became an ‘in demand’ record producer creating many charting hit singles.
As a pilot Peyton learned aerial filmmaking for music video projects, and is currently represented by Getty, Adobe, and Shutterstock. His footage has appeared in hundreds of feature films and TV.
After a NDE experience with stage IV cancer, Peyton wrote a book, Cloudman.
Peyton’s music is currently played globally from his own 12 album’s and writing underscore on TV show’s like ‘Friends’. Peyton made a short film, Code Red about climate change in 2021.
Recently, he has been having solo art gallery shows featuring his photography, and releasing music on the Uyssla Label and Riding Easy Records.
